Everyone has worse days, and it’s okay not to know what to do or how to make change. I offer compassionate, non-judgmental psychotherapy to support meaningful change in your life. Together, we work toward reducing distress, increasing insight, and restoring a sense of peace and direction.
Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, relationship challenges, or chemical or behavioural dependence, or you are concerned about the mental health of a loved one, I am a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist here to help.
RN Psychotherapy is a regulated nursing service available to clients physically located in Ontario, Canada, in accordance with CNO standards.
Individuals located outside Ontario may be eligible for non-nursing counselling or HMT-based support services. Please reach out for more information.
If you’re feeling unsure or anxious about starting therapy, the information below will help you understand what to expect.
RN Psychotherapy is a regulated nursing service that supports individuals seeking meaningful change in their thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships. In our work together, we focus on understanding the root of what is disturbing your peace — not just managing symptoms. Patterns of anxiety, anger, depression, addiction, or relationship conflict are shaped by early experiences and core beliefs formed long before we were conscious of them. Therapy provides a safe, non-judgmental space to bring these patterns into awareness and gently correct them.
My approach is grounded primarily in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), both of which are evidence-based approaches shown to support emotional regulation, insight, and lasting behavioural change. Through increased awareness of triggers, thoughts, and perceptions, we work toward releasing self-attack and judgment — toward greater self-compassion, peace and harmony in your life.
My goal is to give you the skills so you can become your own therapist.
In addition to CBT and DBT, I incorporate HMT- Healed Mind Therapy— a perception-based approach I developed that integrates nervous system regulation, cognitive restructuring, and a love-based philosophy of healing. HMT gives clear direction to the mental shifts we are working toward and supports deeper, more sustained peace and lasting change. This approach is woven naturally into psychotherapy and adapted to each client’s readiness and goals. See button below for more information on HMT.
If you hold spiritual beliefs, these can be incorporated into our work, and be helpful for your healing. This is always optional and guided by your values.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and we move at a pace that feels safe and grounded. There is meaning and purpose to your life, even when it may feel hard to see.

I happily work with couples individually and often support multiple members of the same family separately. When more than one person in a household is learning the same skills and language around perception, regulation, and responsibility, change tends to happen more quickly and with greater harmony. This approach can be especially powerful for couples, parents and adult children, siblings, and close relationships. My unique approach makes this possible, without conflict- I'd love to tell you more.
• I do not provide psychotherapy services to children under the age of 13
• RN psychotherapy services are currently limited to Ontario
• Individuals outside Ontario may be eligible for non-nursing counselling or HMT-based support services — please inquire.

This is most often relevant for teens, adults, and families navigating complex mental health or psychiatric concerns.
