What the HMT Integration Group Is
One of the core principles of HMT – Healed Mind Therapy is that no one heals alone.
While healing is an individual responsibility, it does not happen in isolation. As we work to heal our perception, emotions, and behavior, those around us are influenced—not because we are trying to change them, but because healed perception models a different way of being in the world.
The HMT Integration Group is a space where this work is practiced together, with compassion and without judgment.
Participants come to the group at many different stages of their healing. Some are actively living the principles of HMT, while others are struggling, feeling triggered, or finding it difficult to apply the work in their daily lives. All of this is welcome here.
A foundational understanding of HMT is that not being on the path is part of the path. Struggle does not mean failure—it means there is something asking to be healed.
Within the group, participants are supported by a clinician and by one another to:
- notice fear-based reactions, and calls for love without self-attack
- share how HMT is improving their lives and relationships
- receive compassion, and deep understanding without reinforcement of attack thoughts
- be guided toward gentle thought correction
The group offers a safe confidential space to bring real-life challenges, moments of reactivity, behaviors and emotions that are not loving or peaceful and of feelings of being stuck. Through compassion, shared experience, and gentle thought correction, participants are supported in moving in the direction they want to go—without pressure, shame, or judgment.
Practicing HMT in a group setting reinforces that you are not alone in this work. It provides consistency, grounding, and a steady reminder that healing unfolds over time, through willingness rather than perfection.
